ABOUT THE PLACE :
Kataldhar is the name of a big waterfall near Lonavala in Pune district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Water is not available there for the whole year, but a good amount of water falls during the monsoon season. Though it is difficult to reach to the valley there is a heaven at the end of the fall.
Kataldhar Waterfall is located near Rajmachi Fort. On the way of Rajmachi Trekking route you will find 3 mango trees. This is only one option to reach Kataldhar Waterfall. From this point you can descend the Ulhas valley through dense forest. After reaching at Kataldhar Waterfall you will see one eye shape cave where 100 people easily accommodate in that cave. From this cave you will see Rajmachi Fort (Shrivardhan Fort Balekilla).
The height of Kataldhar Lonavla is about 350 feet with an overhand of more than 100 feet.

**NOTE: Every participant should wear Full Sleeves & Full Track pant to avoid power bite from insect
Tentative Itinerary:
Day1 – Friday :
8.30 pm: Start From Hyderabad (Most of the times by Mumbai Express) If you are from other location, get in touch with us. Contact details at the bottom of this page
Day2 – Saturday :
10.30 am: Reach Lonavala .. Pack lunch and Start to rappelling starting point
12.00 pm: Start rappelling one after the other…
we shall finish the rappelling by 6.00 pm and trek back to the top.
6.00 pm: Start to rajmachi
8.00 pm: Reach Rajmachi Base Village (undewadi)
9.00 pm: Dinner.. Camp fire(if weather Permits)
10.00 pm: Go to Sleep….(Interested can join for Night Trek)
Note: This day will be the major day and the timings may change based on the group members, group size and also weather conditions. So remember the timings are very much tentative.
Day3 – Sunday:
5 .00 am: wake up call…
5.30 am: Trek to top of twin forts
7.00 am: Reach back to base.. have breakfast
9.00 am: Descend to Kajrat Via Kondana caves (this is different route. Not the same while we we ascend)
12.00 pm: Trek completes @ ulhas river .. take a dip in river
12.30 pm: Start to Kajrat
1.30 pm: Reach Kajrat and have lunch
2.15 pm / 4:00 pm: Board train to hyd.. (based on the train – Hyderabad express or Konark Express)
Day4 – Monday:
7 am: Reach Hyderabad.. Say Sayonaraaaa….
Inclusions:
- Hyderabad to Hyderabad train sleeper class
- 350 ft rappelling activity
- Home stay – and food at that stay
- Saturday’s Dinner

- Local transport from Lonavala to Rappelling point

- A Rucksack / haversack,

- Torch / Flashlight /headlight
- 1 track pants/ loose trousers – full length & a T Shirt and other Toiletries needed.
- Mosquito repellent.
- Toiletries required
- Bedsheets or blankets are must.
- Photo Id (any valid card with your photograph and signature on it)
