Mallela Theertham is a beautiful waterfall located in the dense Nallamala Foreset. Water in this place comes from a small stream and joins River Krishna. This place is around 160 Km from Hyderabad and located 8 Km into the forest from Highway.
Mellala Theertham is believed to be a place where many sages took penances for Lord Shiva, and Lord Shiva has himself appeared here to his devotees.
Mode of transport: Hired Vehicle ( Tempo traveller )
Tentative Itinerary:
5:45 am : Pick up from Hyderabad ( Pick up points will be given)
6:30 am : Proceed to Mallela Theertham
Breakfast on the way
11:00 am: Reach Mallela Theertham
11.30 am: Start Trek
2:00 pm: Lunch at the bottom falls
5:00 pm: Start back to Hyderabad
9:30 pm: Reach Hyderabad .. say bye bye with beautiful memories…

Responsibilities:
This is a real forest trek and beware that you might have few wild animals as your guests, Please don’t panic, be responsible and volunteer.
We need to come out of forest before light fades (5:00 PM) for which we should start at the planned time.
Instructions:
- Wear Light Color Clothes, full sleeve T-shirt and track pants
- Jacket / Umbrella and some extra clothes just in case the weather plays foul.
- Water – 3 ltr per head minimum (This is your heaviest weight)
- Sports / trekking shoes, (No Sandals/Converse/Formals or other casual shoes)
- Electral / ORS / glucose
- Sun Cap
- Snacks – chocolates/ energy bars/ biscuits
- Food for lunch
- A big smile, and tons of energy 🙂
- Get your camera if you want to take snaps
- No littering, no pollution of water.
