Before the Trip Scenes:
Once we decided about the trip we made a small group of 5 people who are very well known to each other so that everyone will be comfortable. Ajay, Ravi teja (both are travelling with BCF for the past 3 years and we are almost like family members) , Vinod (he is part of our recent Mathura trip) .
On the day of the trip :
I started from my hometown in the morning 5 am to Hyderabad so that we all can meet in Hyderabad and go together. Ravi picked me at Secunderabad in his car we both then picked remaining friends and started our trip towards Chincholi aka “Kashmir of Telangana”

Chincholi Wild Life Sanctuary
It’s our first trip post corona lockdown, everyone was excited and at the same time little fear about corona too. First half of the journey is mostly gone around lockdown jokes and on corona 😛 we all decided to not to post anything about this trip till 14 days ( no one taken it seriously though 😋😋)
We had our breakfast on the way and continued on highway till Zaheerabad. As we cross the city we felt the fresh air coming out from the farms surrounded and weather was also perfect for the drive. From Zaheerabad we took diversion to chincholi , the road through the villages is a bliss to our eyes. As we reached the village before entering sanctuary we stopped for tea break. Irrespective of corona fear, people at the village were happy to talk to us and they even helped with the route. I always love the heart whelming gesture of rural people, it’s very pure. After our break we reached chincholi sanctuary in 30 min. that drive is very scenic . we were very happy to see pleasant nature after long time.

At the entry gate we stopped , took some pictures ( our social media show started) and went to the last point reachable by road. There is a temple at the end which is visited by locals regularly (Both Telangana, Karnataka as it is in the border). Chandrampalli and gottam gutta hills both are in the vicinity of chincholi sanctuary. We did a short hike down to the stream going there. It took 5min. to reach the place. Spent some time over there and clicked few pictures of the surroundings and started back.
TIP: You don’t find anything to eat over there so please carry snacks while going, water source is available.

Chandrampalli Dam
From chincholi we started to chandrampalli which is around 20 km and it took us 30 min to reach over there. we have to enter Karnataka in order to reach that place.( No major check posts on the way so any vehicle can pass through easily). We took a walk on the dam till its end it was really cool. Chincholi range can be seen from the dam. There are 3 cottages available (Belongs to Karnataka Tourism) for the travelers who are willing to stay over night. We spent few hours of quality time over there and started to Ethipothala.

We had our lunch on the way. Its very hard to maintain hygiene in some places but we have to tried our best to protect ourselves. Its already noon , everyone was hungry. We had some fried rice at nearby village while having jokes about corona possibilities 😛😛
Ethipothala
It is locally named as Ethipothala (other than one at Nagarjuna sagar) according to its geographical location. Although we have map sometimes we won’t find the exact route without help of locals. Finally after getting directions from multiple people we reached the place.

There are some local people enjoying in the stream. It’s basically a running water stream with boulders in the middle. We crossed the stream by doing little adventure. After few meters it directly falls down by 10mtrs making it look like little waterfall . But the red soil of that area made it look like the big cup of tea pouring from the top 😋😋
Spent some time at the place Its evening 5pm already we started our drive back to home. Going back to home always a different feeling in the travel. Throughout the journey we just rewind the scenes from the morning and felt happy for the Pleasant trip after long time . Reached Hyderabad by 7 pm and said bye bye to mates by cheering Jai corona trip ..hahaha.. :😋
Over all its a come back trip for us after 4 months of lockdown and quarantine.
Very soon we’ll be coming up with this event..
