ABOUT THE PLACE :
Lohagad (“Iron Fort”) is one of the many hill forts of Maharashtra state in India. Situated close to the hill station Lonavala and 52 km (32 mi) northwest of Pune, Lohagad rises to an elevation of 1,033 m (3,389 ft) above sea level[1]. The fort is connected to the neighboring Visapur fort by a small range. The fort was under the Maratha empire for the majority of the time, with a short period of 5 years under the Mughal empire.

With nature at its bountiful best, you’ll get to experience the rains in a whole new light while rappelling down the Dudhiware waterfall. This is a moderately difficult activity that is suitable for adventure enthusiasts and fit newbies.

Tentative Itinerary
Day 1:
8:30 PM – Board Mumbai express from Nampally (8:30 PM) / Begumpet (8:40 PM) / Lingampally (9:00 PM) – (mentioned the train names for Hyderabad)
Day 2:
10.00 am – Reach Lonavala station and Start To Dudhiware
11.30 am – Reach Rappelling Start Point
Introduction About Equipment & Rappelling
12.00 pm – Start Rappelling
4.00 pm – Finish Rappelling and Start to Camping Place
5.30 pm – Reach Camping Place.. Pitch Tents / HomeStay(Basic Washrooms)
8.30 pm – Dinner, chit chat and more fun…
10:00 pm – Go to Sleep
Note: This day will be the major day and the timings may change based on the group members, group size and also weather conditions. So remember the timings are very much tentative.
Day 3:
6.00 am – Wake up call and freshen up
7.30 am – Hike To Lohagad Fort …Come back and have Breakfast
9.30 am – Start to Malwali and Catch a local train to Lonavala
1:30 pm – Reach Lonavala
2:00 PM – Lunch
3:00 PM – Catch Train to Hyderabad
Day 4:
5:45 AM – Reach Hyderabad and say Sayonara
