Maldives: The Maldives is a small archipelagic state in South Asia, situated in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. It lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 700 kilometers (430 mi) from the Asian continent’s mainland. Maldives is one of the world’s most geographically dispersed sovereign states as well as the smallest Asian country by land area and population, with around 515,696 inhabitants. Malé is the capital and the most populated city, traditionally called the “King’s Island” where the ancient royal dynasties ruled for its central location.
The Maldives are known for their natural environment including the blue ocean, white beaches, and clean air. The climate of the Maldives is ideal for visitors to get engaged in water sports such as swimming, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, water-skiing. windsurfing and kiteboarding.
The natural environment of the Maldives attracts tourists all over the world and every year. Its tourism industry is today the Maldives’ largest revenue generator.
Due to their extraordinary underwater scenery and clean water, the Maldives is ranked among the best recreational diving destinations of the world, with over 60 local dive sites across the islands. It was also reported to be the world’s most desired honeymoon destination, according to a global survey by Agoda.com.

Day 1 :
12:00 pm – Reach Velana International Airport (try to book the flights before this)
Meet and Greet – welcome BCFians to the Maldives!
12:30 pm – Check in the hotel and fresh up

1:30 pm – Lunch ( this lunch is self-paid) – BCF Suggestion – Bombay Darbar
3:00 pm – We shall go Kayaking
5:00 pm – We shall go Swimming
6:00 pm – Sunset and relax for the day
we can go for Hulhumale local trip – roam on roads explore beaches and relax at central park Hulhumale
10:00 pm – Dinner (this dinner is self-paid)
11:59 pm – Sleep
Day 2 – Scuba diving day
6:00 am – Wake up call and go for sunrise
if interested one can go swimming as we stay just beside the beach
7:00 am – Comeback and fresh up
8:00 am – Breakfast (provided by BCF – mostly continental)
8:30 am – Start to Scuba Diving
this includes a session on Scuba, do’s and don’ts and introduction to the equipment and other formalities
9:30 am – Reach the Boating point and get into the ferry/speed boat
10:30 am – go for a training session on the shallow beach so that you will be comfortable when you enter deep sea
12:00 pm – Will go for the dive. ( Mostly Kurumba point) – enjoy watching the sea life and try spotting Sharks!
3:00 pm – back to stay – fresh up
3:30 pm – Start to Male and reach the Virlingi Ferry point
4:30 pm – Lunch at Villingili restaurant
(personal suggestion from BCF – Hotel Vinorva)
5:30 pm – Roam in the village and explore Villimale harbour and local parks
6:30 pm – Sunset at One love beach
7:30 pm – Reach Male by Ferry and start to Hulhumale
9:00 pm – DInner (this dinner is self-paid)
10:00 pm – Spend some time at the beach
11:00 pm – Chit chat.. games and have some fun
11:59 pm – Sleep
Day 3 –
6:00 am – Wake up call and go for sunrise
if interested one can go swimming as we stay just beside the beach
7:00 am – Comeback and fresh up
8:00 am – Breakfast (provided by BCF – Mostly continental)
8:30 am – Start to the ferry point
9:30 am – Reach the Boating point and get into the ferry/speed boat
10:30 am – Start to Sandbank – we shall travel around 2.5 hrs to reach this point
12:30 pm – Lunch ((provided by BCF))
1:00 pm – Enjoy the amazing natural sandbank
Get trained to Snorkel. Try understanding the snorkelling
2:30 pm – WIll go for the spot where we see 100s of fishes
(it’s for a reason called fish tank – and it’s in the sea, not artificial tank 😉 )
3:30 pm – we shall go on Dolphin cruise and spot Dolphins!
6:00 pm – Back to Homestay
7:00 pm Relaxxxx – after a long day and too much swimming ad water sports!
9:00 pm – DInner (this dinner is self-paid)
11:00 pm – Chit chat.. games and fun
11:59 pm – Sleep
Day 4-
5:30 am – wake up and freshen up
6:30 am – Sunrise Kayaking and Swimming (these two based on the availability and the energy levels of the group)
7:30 am : We can also try Jetski and Funtube (which costs you and we shall try to get best price to our BCFians)
8:00 am – Back to homestay
9:00 am – fresh up
9:30 am – Breakfast
11:00 am – Pack your bags and Reach airport and say bubyeeee….
12:00 pm – Leave with awesome memories

FAQs
- Does the cost include airfares (flight charges) from India to the Maldives?
Answer: No - Which islands exactly are we visiting on each day?
Answer: Hulhumale, Male and Villingi (this is flexible for any day, we don’t want to hold you guys and make you to do activities as per schedule no matter what. Like for example, if there is a rough sea on day 2 we don’t go for dive, we do something else.) - Where is each of these activities in day 2 and 3 scheduled? For example, Scuba Diving at Maaya Thila, Snorkeling at Maafushi Island.
Answer: Scuba diving will nearby dive site (hulhumale). The divemaster will decide the dive spot and this depends on the day weather and number of people*. - How much would be the duration of water sport activities? For example, scuba dive session being booked on day 2 and snorkelling, kayaking session on day 3
Answer: Scuba dive 2hrs(including lesson at dive centre) In water depends on your breathing capacity and comfort levels. Normal DSD dives around 40mins in the water.
Coming to Kayak it’s one hour. No class provided as you will be doing in shallow water. - Please share accommodation and room category details. Which and where would be our stay all 3 nights?
Answer: All three nights in Hulhumale Beach View Guest House. Mostly Huvan Beach, but we don’t hold rooms until the booking is finalized. In such case of non-availability, the similar guest house will be provided - Which beaches exactly are we visiting on respective days as per the schedule? For instance, the glowing beach in vaadhoo island, hulhumale beach are popular.
Answer: No schedule to visit beaches. We shall visit as time permits as we have many around. (on a lighter note you may get bored also.) and compulsory ones are mentioned for your question no 1 - As per inclusions, Breakfast is provided in the stay B&B so it would be day 2 onwards and lunch on day 3 is provided. All dinners and other lunches are on us. Are there outside food joints around our stay that we could visit for dinners?
Answer: Yes you have restaurants and can choose your choice. For example, Bombay Darbar is one of the famous Indian restaurants over there - Who would be the Organizer or facilitator of this trip apart from participants? Does he have the experience of this itinerary visit earlier?
Answer: Organizer from Hyderabad/India may or may not join. Nevertheless, we have our guy from BCF who is native of Hyderabad and at the Maldives for the last 3 years. - How do we exchange Currency?
Answer: You can pay us in INR. Rest we shall manage at the Maldives - Is transport to Villi Male included, as there is no road transport? Whereas hulhumale and male there’s a bridge….
Answer: Its Included - As per point 1, if the sea is not favourable for 2 days the dive shall be cancelled as well.???
Answer: Mostly it does not happen. We find some time in the morning or afternoon for dive. But yes if sea is not favourable for dive we abort it(its matter of life). 99% of the cases will go as per the schedule. - Any Visa Charges?
Answer: Free Visa on Arrival - Are there any charges for Currency exchange?
Answer: No for us. If you do at exchange centre, yes they impose some charges - Is Health Insurance required?
Answer: Not required. It’s up to you. Personal choice.
