About place: Pocharam lake is located 15 km from Medak town, which is approximately 120 kms from Hyderabad. A route through Narsapur forest in the morning makes the road trip mesmerizing.
9th September 2020.
It was 5:30 am in the morning. We prepared food and started our journey to Pocharam lake. We planned to go through the forest area after dawn as it is very beautiful to drive through roads of Narsapur in the morning.

The scenic and pleasant roads made that morning so beautiful that any one bored with city life would love it. The green fields all along would give a boost to one’s energy to reach Pocharam.

From this point you can even walk to Pocharam dam. There are many other places near to the lake where one can camp. The way to this inspection building was such a slushy roads that our mudguard was filled with that dirt. There is another way to the lake but we planned to take our bikes closest to the lake.
The lake view was so pacifying that one can lose their presence. The tranquility of the lake in the morning brings the best out of it. We had snacks that we packed from home and enjoyed the beautiful, serene and a scenic view.
